I've haven't done anything more for Trap Quest. I'm in the process of sorting though more of my content trying to decide what next to install. I have a lot set aside but just haven't installed it yet.
On the other hand, I've found some more of my older work.
--------------------------------------------------
I'm starting with something I am so very proud of. It's a Starship I was build based on a design and the deckplan's from the "Traveller" Science Fiction RPG I use to play.
It's the Scout Couriour. A smaller ship, but very well known because it is one of the most built ship's since it's been around for centeries and is still in heavy use.
My build is base on the design/deckplans released not by the Publisher of the game but from a licensed 3rd party game supplement producer.
Rear showing the central hatch leading into the Engineering section.
The hatch partly opened.
The left and right rear bulkheads removed, leaving the center section.
You can see the engineering space.
Now the center section is removed, allowing full access to the engineering space.
It's not seen here, but I've also got the hatch leading though the forward bulkhead into the central section of the ship.
Here's a test scene to see how it's going to look. It's only has a simple texture added. The center and port rear bulkhead's are still in place. The starboard bulkhead, with it's drive still mounted on it is hanging nearby. You can see equipment in the enginerring space.

An early verson of K'Lia, my albino pilot sitting on her bed in her quarter's.
Her's another rendering of her Grandmother out having a little fun. She doesn't look old enough to have a grandchild, let alone one as old as K'Lia but she is.
--------------------------------------------------
Meet Tarrie, a highly trained and compentent Engineer and what the hell is she doing on an Emperor Class Tramp? Here she is crawling tough the maintence access ducts trying to find a faulty power relay for the life support system only to find herself interupted by the Captain, calling her on her ear comm, wanting to know why the hell he has TWO seperate scanner routines up and running on his bridge terminals.
"Because while doing a check of the bridge systems I discovered that both the main AND primaray back-up scan boards was off line and you was running on the one and ONLY remaining backup. I was able to piece together the two failed boards to build a single operationl board which I have up and running along side the backup so I can record data from both to compare later with base line specs. With that I can fine tune both board's and recaluprate and adjust them back into proper alinement, and now if you don't mind, I have a faulty power transfer relay hiding somewhere here between decks and though YOU might not care much about breathing, I do, even if it IS this lousy excause the life support system seems to think is correct for our requirments."
Although by trade she's an Engineer, Tarrie processes enough additional quilifications to sit a bridge watch and so she is place on the rotation. Failing to show up for her watch and not answering the comm, the Captain makes his way to the drive spaces and in one of the smaller upper level rooms where she has sit up her own "Quarters" (so has to be right on hand when ever needed which seems to be WAY too often it seems), find her pass out in the hammock she sleeps in. Graping the edge of the hammock he dumps her onto the floor only to discover :
1: She sleeps in the nude.
2: When surprised she can react very fast, for in the blink of an eye she is off the floor and wide awake and is that scream really her or some danger alarm he's never heard before and will he ever be able to hear again?
3: She not only sleep in the nude but with a stuff doll.
4: She's left handed and man does she pack a wallop, got to remember to watch out for it in the future.
And 5: She not TOTALLY nude, she got her belt on and what the hell is it with that belt. She wears it with everything, with her ship suit, her coveralls, when she dresses up for port liberety, even with her vacc suit. And now it's her night gown?
Makeing her quarters in the drive spaces does have it advantages. She has a lot more room and it's all her's and if something goes wrong which seems to happen way to much for her comfort, she's right on hand to fix it. On the down side the only shower is a emergecy wash down station with only cold water. She's got to do something about that. So, having put in a LONG day of repairs, the lastest being repairing a cracked drive mount, Tarrie graps her bath gear and heads to the front to borrow the Steward's shower.
She is SO looking forward to at last being clean. What? What did you say? What do you mean their is no water for a shower? Rationing until the recyclers can rebuild the supply? The tank is almost dry? But it was full when we left port? The system dumped the tank when it purged the waste tank? But but, when did this happen and why was I not told this? 5 minutes? 5 minutes !?! This happened 5 MINUTES AGO?!?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And to end it all for today:
Working the trade routes on the fringes of civiliztion can be risky. Having aquired a cargo for a remote world off the regular fright routes, it was not surprising to find that there was no cargo to be had for the return trip. Arriving at the jump point the ship ready itself to leave the system when the comm system detects the faint by distintive bleep of an emergency transponder. With the jump drives not yet spunned up we dialed up the scanners and started the search. Finally after several hours they found it, a smll tiny speck at the fartest reach of their sensors, drifting way out in the middle of the system.
After several more hours of travel they found themselves pulling in an lone escape pod, it systems dead save for the backup battery built into the beacon, and it's all but drained. Back tracking the course it had been drifting along, they at last find the remains of a Liner that went missing some years back, or at least part of it anyway. Salvaging what they could from the
shattered hull, they filled their hold and head back to civiliztion to report their findings and though they will have to hand over what they had salvaged, the claim they can make on it will go a long way to help them make ends meet on this trip. They may not have found any surviours, nut now that it is known where to look for the missing liner, there is still a chance, although remote, that someone might be found sleeping in an emergency low birth by the search and recovery team that will be sent out. For those who did not survive, at least their familes will at last have some answers.
With the jump drives spunned up and the ship in jump space, things become quiet and for once, there is no pressing repairs that has to be done, so getting creative, Tarrie commadears a corner of the rear cargo hold and using the end cap off of an old useless water tank, she creates her own little piece of luxury.
